This Series is designed to be used for fishing for swordfish during the day or deep dropping. American made rods, featuring a light tip to minimize hook pulls. The 153 was designed for areas with little to moderate current with the use of 4-8 lbs. of lead, while the 154 is ideal for areas in the northeast with moderate to fast current, with the use of 8-12 lbs. of lead. Fin Legacy Deep Drop Rod
The Fin Legacy Deep Drop Rod series offers models rated from 50-100 lbs, each tailored for different current conditions and lead weights.
These rods feature Winthrop roller tops, Fuji silicon carbide guides, EVA foregrips, and Aftco #4 Curved Butts, designed to provide both sensitivity and strength for targeting Swordfish and deep-dropping for Snapper and Grouper.
With lengths from 6'3" to 6'10", they are built to handle light to heavy currents.
